Description

One of the pictures I took on my trip to france a few days ago. This picture was made about 310 meters above the ground.
I tried to find the spot on the center of the tower, but this was the closest I could get. I had to stick my hand with the camera through the gratings so I couldn't see the picture I was taking. I think it turned out quite nice (oh, and if you look closely, you can see people ice-skating on the first level).

The picture was made with my Canon Digital IXUS S100

What I really love about this photo is that the long shadows on those rivets match the long shadows of the vehicles down below. It really tricks one's sense of depth.

It's great to see a photo by you and this is wonderful, especially shot without seeing what you were framing....amazing!! I like the fact that this is a very unusual perspective on the Eiffel tower, one not often seen. Very well done!!

I think it's a Tootsie Roll Pam. I am afraid of heights I do believe in spooks I do I do!

Very awesome shot. There is so much detail. It's fun to just look through this entire photo slowly and try to make out what everything is.

I do believe in spooks!

Great, Martijn.
The estrangement of this brings me to thinking I could walk straight down that 'road' (the tower), towards the horizon (the actual road).
Good composition. +10

I enjoy this photo very much. I like the angle, usualy you see the tower from below, all lit up at night or what have you. I think this is a very interesting new take on things
